
Forgetting a password happens. It’s usually a quick fix.
If you can’t sign in to your Microsoft 365 account, follow the steps below.
You’ll be asked to confirm your identity. This may be through:
The Microsoft Authenticator app
A text message
A phone call
Just follow the prompts on screen.
When creating a new password, aim for something strong but memorable.
A good rule of thumb:
At least 12 characters
A mix of letters, numbers and symbols
Not something you’ve used before
Avoid using personal details like birthdays or names.
