Resetting Your Microsoft 365 Password

Info

Forgetting a password happens. It’s usually a quick fix.

If you can’t sign in to your Microsoft 365 account, follow the steps below.

Go to the official reset page

Enter your work email address and complete the short security check.

Verify it’s you

You’ll be asked to confirm your identity. This may be through:

  • The Microsoft Authenticator app

  • A text message

  • A phone call

Just follow the prompts on screen.

Choose a new password

When creating a new password, aim for something strong but memorable.
A good rule of thumb:

  • At least 12 characters

  • A mix of letters, numbers and symbols

  • Not something you’ve used before

Avoid using personal details like birthdays or names.

Still stuck?

If the reset process doesn’t work, send us a message with:
